Q: How do I set up a conference call online?

A: Once you have registered for your new account online you will automatically receive a reservation less fly Audio and Web conference that you can use at any time. You will also receive a login and password that you will use to access your fly My Account Dashboard.

To set up additional reservation less fly Audio and Web conferences:

1. Login to your fly My Account Dashboard through the fly Conferencing website. (Once you login, you can change your password by selecting "Update My Profile" on the "Get Started" menu bar.)

2. On the “Get Started” menu bar, click “New fly Audio and Web”.

3. Complete the required fields in the Setup page and click “Submit”. You will instantly receive your conference details on line and you will receive conference invitations via email.

To set up fly Audio Reserved conferences:

1. Login to your fly My Account Dashboard through the fly Conferencing website.

2. On the “Get Started” menu bar, click “New fly Audio Reserved”.

3. Complete the required fields in the Setup page and click “Submit”. You will instantly receive your conference details on line and you will receive conference invitations via email.

Q: How do I cancel or edit a conference?

A: To cancel or edit a reservation less fly Audio and Web conferences:

1. In the fly Audio and Web window in the fly My Account Dashboard, click on the phone number associated with the conference you wish to cancel or edit.

2. To cancel the conference, click on the “Cancel Conference” button.
Note: Once a conference has been cancelled, it cannot be restored. However, you can setup a new fly Reservation less or Reserved Audio conference from fly My Account Dashboard.

3. To edit the conference, change the desired fields and click “Submit”. You may re-edit your conference at any time.

To cancel or edit a reserved fly Audio and Web conferences:

1. In the Scheduled Conferences window in the fly My Account Dashboard, click on the phone number associated with the conference you wish to cancel or edit.

2. To cancel the conference, click on the “Cancel Conference” button.
Note: Once a conference has been cancelled, it cannot be restored. However, you can setup a new fly Reservation less or Reserved Audio conference from fly My Account Dashboard.

3. To edit the conference, change the desired fields and click “Submit”. You may re-edit your conference at any time prior to the start time of the conference.

Q: How do I know the conference is set up properly?

A: After setting up your conference, you will see an online confirmation detailing your conference. You will also receive presenter and audience invitations via e-mail for every conference. These invitations provide ease and flexibility for you to share the details of the conference call with your participants. Simply forward a copy of the audience invitation to all participants.

Q: How can I get help while on a conference call?

A: Operator assistance is available at all times during all conferences by pressing "*0" on your touch tone telephone.

Q: I can’t get into the web portion of my conference, what should I do?

A: First, be sure that all you’re pop-up blockers are turned off or have been set to accept pop-ups from the “yourconferencecenter” site. Be aware that browsing tools and add-ons provided by sites such as Yahoo! And Google often include pop-up blockers that you may not know are active.

If you continue to have trouble, press "*0" on you touch tone phone while in your audio conference and the operator will connect you with our Web Help Desk.

Q: How can I reduce the amount of background noise on my call?

A: Listen Only mode allows only the specified speaker(s) to talk. This feature is an excellent way to eliminate disruptive background noise during presentations. It can also be helpful for speakers who are not actively speaking to mute their phone.

Q: Occasionally, a cell phone or speakerphone from one of my sites causes extreme static on my conference call. How can I eliminate the static and continue with my call?

A: There is no need to be concerned. Our operators are standing by to assist you. Simply press "*0" on your touch tone telephone to access an operator. The operator can determine the exact line causing the disturbance, and, depending upon the host's request, may either mute or disconnect the line. fly Audio and Web and Reserved participants can mute their own line with the touch-tone commands.

Q: What is Conference Recording?

A: Conference Recording is a service available with fly Reservation less Audio conferencing. By pressing "*2" on your touchtone phone, you can record your conference for later playback. The cost of recording your conference is 5¢ per minute. The conference recording can be accessed for playback for up to two weeks or until another audio conference has been recorded on the same reservation less conference. The playback numbers and information can be found in your host invitation. You will be charged 5¢ per minute every time the recording is accessed.

Q: What is Host Dial-out?

A: This allows you to dial-out from your conference to bring in an expert, other participants, or initiate a meeting “on the fly”. Host Dial-out may be launched by pushing #1 on your touch-tone phone or by using the fly View online conference management tool.

Q: What is fly My Account Dashboard?

fly My Account Dashboard is an online tool that allows you to view and change your account profile information, add new account services, set-up fly Audio and Web reservation less services, set-up fly Audio reserved services, and edit or cancel services. Conference preferences that can be set include name record, entry and exit tones, conference continuation, and conference quick-start. You can also launch a web conference with a single click.

fly My Account Dashboard also provides you with your conferencing services history within 24 hours of conference completion. This is provided in both summary and detail reports for the previous 90 days.

Q: What is fly View?

A: fly View is fly Conferencing’s online conference management tool for your reservation less conferences. fly View allows you to:

  • Speak with an operator
  • Have an operator join the conference
  • Mute or unmute individual lines or the entire conference
  • Lock or unlock the meeting
  • Disconnect and remove participants from the conference
  • Dial-out to other parties to bring them into the conference
  • Identify participants with playback of recorded names
  • Name conference lines for easy identification of participants
  • Play a “roll call” of all participants
  • Launch a web conference
  • End the conference

Q: Can I get a report showing the cost of my call?

A: Yes. In the Services History window of the fly My Account Dashboard you can view the Time and Charges Report for each of your completed conferences that occurred over the previous 90 days. Note: Time and Charges estimates do not include applicable local, state, or federal taxes.

Q: Do you charge cancellation fees?

A: fly Conferencing does not charge cancellation fees for fly Audio and Web or fly Audio Reserved service.

Q: Are there any other fees associated with the fly Conferencing service?

A: The fly conferencing rate is 5¢ for audio and 9¢ for Web per minute per participant including Dial-out service, audio recording, and audio recording playback. The rate for reserved fly Audio service is 4 1/2¢ per minute per participant.
